The iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G will be soon available from Vodafone. The contract that has prevented any other provider apart from O2 selling the Apple iPhone is coming to an end allowing Vodafone to negotiate a deal with Apple for their customers.
O2 has had an exclusivity deal for 2 years with Apple to sell the iPhone. This however is coming to a close. Vodafone and Apple have confirmed this week that an agreement has been reached which will result in Vodafone offering the iPhone to customers in the UK and Ireland early next year.
Vodafone have said customers can sign up to receive the latest updates for their iPhone offers by visiting this page at the Vodafone website.
