Ok, so now nearly everyone has a fixed broadband connection at home so are people satisfied with that? Maybe, but who wouldnt want the flexibilty of mobile broadband. While we have been content sat at home, mobile broadband has started to become mainstream.
Mobile broadband allows to to access the web, work online, basically anything you can do from a fixed connection while you’re out and about and on the move. This tends to make the concept of owning a laptop alot more feasible for most folk.
Why not just use your mobile phone? If you are happy squinting and working on a 3 inch screen then why not use your mobile phone. Otherwise Mobile broadband and your laptop certainly makes good sense. You can now actually plug your mobile broadband usb dongle into your wireless router and share your connection removing the need for a fixed connection in your home.
Mobile broadband works by allowing you to connect to the internet via mobile phone networks which now have a 99% coverage in the UK.
