It is now possible to get a free laptop when you sign up to a mobile broadband deal costing from as little as £17.50 per month. 3, t-mobile, Vodaphone, O2 and Orange are all including free laptops as part of some of their mobile broadband packages.

Free Laptops are being used by mobile broadband providers as an incentive to consumers taking out their contracts. Since the introduction of these free laptop bundles in late 2008, sales of mobile broadband deals have rocketed.

Are the free laptops any good?

The power and specifications of the free laptops vary with the overall emphasis of the machines being that they are suitable for using mobile broadband and general tasks rather than being a full blown entertainment laptop capable of running the latest games on full detail. However there are some pretty powerful laptops currently being offered; the higher the free laptops specification the more expensive the contract. Our favourite current deal is from T-Mobile who are currently offering a HP 6735s Laptop along with a monthly data limit of 5GB for £30 per month.

Compare all free laptop deals currently being offered.
